Three favorite Scottish melodies: two traditional songs by Robert Burns, and one possibly written in 1947 but based on a classic poem by Robert Tannahill. The songs are Wild Mountain Thyme (Tannahill), Ye Banks and Braes (Burns), and Auld Lang Syne (Burns). Each is a separate piece of sheet music, printed on ivory paper, 4 pages long, 8 1/2" x 11". Wild Mountain Thyme and Ye Banks and Braes are arranged for harp and voice, with a goodly amount of harp solo music included between verses, especially in Wild Mountain thyme, where the harp really soars! Auld Lang Syne is arranged as a solo for the lever or pedal harp, with arpeggios leading perfectly into melody notes. Level: intermediate. Each of these songs is also available separately on Amazon.
